File extension .snp refers to Microsoft Access. These files include layouts, text and graphics. They are not intended for editing and display the Access report. The .snp files can be viewed separately, embedded in web pages, and added as attachments to e-mail messages. Viewing .snp files may cause difficulties – for instance, if you install Windows XP Service Pack 2, you will be prompted to save the .snp file instead of opening it directly in Internet Explorer. This means you either need to install Microsoft Snapshot Viewer, or the software able to convert the .snp files into something more recognizable. Similar decision should be made when one has to fax or print Microsoft Access reports. The reports saved as .snp files may be highly formatted and include charts, catalogues describing items and including images and descriptions. The SNP format is supported by ImageConverter Plus for output conversion. The most appropriate image formats where the SNP files can be converted may be TIFF or PDF image format.
