If, for any reason, you want to place your images into a border (for example, you want to display paintings placed into a wooden frame at your website, or you need to place a program sreenshot into a frame imitating user’s monitor), you can place every image into a frame manually. However, it will take too much time, even if you deal with few photos. If all your images are of the same size and proportion, you can place them into a frame automatically with the help of Image Converter Plus.
To create a 510×510 pixel frame with 10 pixel width, you should do the following:
Step 1:
- First, create a graphics file with the image of a frame. Inside the frame there should be a rectangular area of the needed size (size of your images after conversion. This rectangular area should be transparent. Memorize size of the frame and its transparent area.
Step 2:
- Launch Image Converter Plus.
Step 3:
- Go to “Photos” tab, select and add drafts you want to place into the border.
Step 4:
- Go to Profiles tab. In “Operation before save: Add operation” line, click “Add operation” and select “Resize” from the menu.
Step 5:
- Click “Add operation” once again and select “Canvas” from the menu.
Step 6:
- Click “Add operation” once again and select “Watermark” from the menu.
Step 7:
- Click “+” mark located to the left from “Add operation” line to open the group of settings for added operations.
Step 8:
- In “Resize”, in “Pixel Dimension” line, enter the values corresponding to the inner area of your frame in pixels (500×500). In “Canvas”, select “Add border”, and specify the full size of your border (510×510) in Width and Height lines. In “Watermark”, enter the full path to the file with the frame in “Apply watermark from file” line.
Step 9:
- In “with horizontal offset, with vertical offset” line, specify 0 and 0.
Step 10:
- In “using method” line, select Alpha Blend.
Step 11:
- Specify settings for the output format (optimal values are specified by default).
Step 12:
- Specify the folder to save converted images to.
Step 13:
- Specify other settings.
Step 14:
- Press “Start” button to start conversion.
